EOG has the only exclusive U.S. Marketing & Sales Agreement for the brand new deepwell injection facility in Romulus, Michigan, which is the first new commercial hazardous waste management operation in our great country in over a decade.  The U.S. EPA has stated that properly conducted deepwelling is the safest hazardous waste management activity.  This new state-of-the-art facility sits on a greenfield site with numerous treatment options available to it before the actual deepwell process, and the entire operation is computer controlled—similar to the most sophisticated chemical processing facilities in the world.  Perhaps more importantly, all of the treatment activities occur “under roof” and within a single building, including tanker truck offloading, railcar offloading, etc.  Similarly, our new facility in Milwaukee has the exact same significant advantage: waste offloading occurs inside our building.  You can rest easy and have peace-of-mind using such clean & sophisticated facilities.

For materials which do not fit the deepwell’s criteria, we use a list of limited, approved facilities that engage in recycling, treatment, or disposal of such materials.
